Implementation
& startup

Demo meeting
The very first thing we do when a company approaches us is to book a meeting for a demo presentation of Tracelink. Here we talk about many of the options available in the system. The most common solutions we implement in a company include order management, time registration, inventory management and purchasing.

A demo meeting takes approx. 1-2 hours. After the meeting, we send an offer based on the needs we have discussed.

Phase 1: Kickoff
Once the agreement is in place, we now move into the actual implementation. Here, Tracelink's implementation consultant meets with the company's production manager to review offers, work processes and any challenges. Here, Tracelink's implementation consultant usually also gets a tour of the company.

A kickoff meeting typically takes between 1½-3 hours.

Phase 2: Processes
After the kickoff meeting, the consultant goes home and records the company's work processes and clarifies how the system should be set up so that it best meets the needs the company has to get control of their internal processes.

The consultant continuously follows up with the company so that the work flow is documented correctly.

Phase 3: Setup / Dataimport
The consultant then sets about setting up the system based on the solution that the consultant and company have agreed upon. That is that the consultant adds the modules to be used, e.g. orders, stock, purchases, etc. to the company's Tracelink account.

If data has been agreed upon for import, it will also be imported in this phase.

Phase 4: Training
Now that the foundation for the solution has been laid, the training phase begins. Here, the company receives online training approx. 1 time a week for 1 hour at a time for an average of up to 3 months. However, you can easily get lessons several times a week if you want to get started quickly. The duration of the phase depends on how large a solution is needed.

The teaching is done on Google Meet and is done in stages. Often you will start with one function at a time, e.g. creating users, then setting up salary profiles, etc. In this way, the company's key personnel are "eased into" the system, and can explore the functions themselves at a quiet pace. Between each teaching session, there are some homework - such as creating items, salary profiles, tools, etc. - that must be completed before the next step can be taken. When the company feels ready to stand on its own two feet, they transition to normal operations.

We will therefore not release you until you feel secure with the system.

Phase 5: Deployment
When the company has finished receiving training in the system and are using their Tracelink solution on a daily basis, they transition to "Deployment".

The company is therefore also handed over to Support, who will be the primary contact.
